RISE after-school
enrichment: Deadline is
TOMORROW, Feb. 5
RISE classes offer
after school
enrichment for 6
weeks from Feb. 23
to Apr. 1. Classes
are Tuesdays or
Thursdays
3:30-4:30, and range
in cost from $20-$70
for the 6
weeks. This year
classes include:
TUESDAY: *

rope * knitting *
math games * sign
language *
THURSDAY: *
Mad Science * soccer
* yoga * art *
crafts *

Note that grade
ranges are
guidelines,
exceptions will be
considered. Don't

Si View Parks offers day camp
during Mid-Winter Break:
Register NOW
for Mid-Winter Break. This
camp runs each day of
mid-winter break including
Presidents Day. Campers
will take part in great
cooking projects, games &
activities, arts & crafts,
swimming most days, and a
super fun field trip on
Thursday!
Details: Feb. 15th - 19th at
Si View Community Center,
grades K-5th, fee is
$145/week, but you can
register per day for
$45-$50, depending on the
day.
Encompass is Offering
Two Great Classes:
Super Sitter Class:
This class will be
offered on Saturday,
Feb. 27th from 10 am
- 3 pm. It is
taught by Overlake
Hospital for teens
11 to 17 years old.
Learn about parent
expectations, first
aid, the
Heimlich Maneuver,
nutrition, fire
prevention and other
sitter
responsibilities.
Make sure to sign up
your teen soon. The
cost is $35.
Lego Camp: This
class will be
during Mid-Winter
break from
Wed., Feb. 17 thru
Fri., Feb. 19th from
9 am to noon. The
class max. is 14,
but there is some
room left.

Open Forum for
Organizing
Community Schools:
There will be an
open
forum/brainstorming
session about the
status of our school
district. Large
cuts are going to be
made in 2010 and
even more in 2011,
can our district
handle this without
collapsing? We all
are facing this
together but have
different needs,
please attend and be
heard! We need
to be one voice in
this Valley! For

Valley
area
