PTA funds ActivBoards for remaining 3 classrooms

Thanks to successful fundraising this year, and to the many business sponsors of the Student Directory, the PTA was able to fund $5028 to supply ActivBoards for the 3 remaining classrooms lacking this popular and effective teaching tool. At the PTA general meeting on Nov. 18 members voted on this purchase, and we were treated to a demo of how teachers use ActivBoards.

Also at the PTA general meeting John Jester presented parts of the School Improvement Plan, with the help of a few teachers. You can view this document at the new Opstad school website, go to http://oes.svsd410.org/School_Info.html .
